Our dentists Dr. Kevin Haynes and Dr. Matt Sanderson both went to school at LSU School of Dentistry. They have been practicing dentistry and serving the Monroe area since 1990.
Dr. Haynes & Dr. Sanderson are committed to continuing education and learning, so that they can provide top-quality, high-tech dental care to their patients. They are members of various professional dental associations and stay ahead of the changes and recommendations in the dental field.
Dr. Matt Sanderson
Dr. Matt Sanderson grew up in Ouachita Parish. He attended Swartz and Claiborne Elementary School, West Monroe Jr High and High School. He moved to Calhoun High School his senior year to help his Dad begin a football team. Dr. Sanderson graduated from Calhoun High School. He then went on to ULM (Then NLU) where he graduated in Pre Dentistry, before moving to New Orleans for four years at LSU School of Dentistry where he earned his DDS degree.
Dr. Sanderson met his wife, Merion Spence Sanderson at ULM and they now have four children, Ladd, Ty, McKenna and Sophee.
Dr. Sanderson has been active in the Community, coaching little league baseball and soccer, serving on the ULM Foundation, a charter member and Treasure of the Greater Ouachita Port Commission and participating in numerous charitable fundraising activities. He is a member of the American and Louisiana Dental Association and is past president of the Northeast Louisiana Dental Association.
Dr. Sanderson enjoys spending his time with family and friends and in the Restoration of Historic Buildings in the area, including the Georgia Tucker Elementary School as a part owner.
Dr. Sanderson truly enjoys being a dentist. He is very active in continuing education in order to be able to bring the highest quality dental services to his patients. Dr. Kevin Haynes
Dr. Kevin Haynes was born and raised in Monroe, La. He attended Neville High School, Louisiana State University, and LSU Dental School in New Orleans. Dr. Haynes is married to Ashley Smith Haynes, who is a registered nurse and works for Mickel Plastic Surgery. They have five children Patrick married to Katie, Rachael married to Will, Christopher, Michael, and Laura. They have two grandchildren, Anna and Henry.
In his free time Dr. Haynes enjoys watching his boys play sports and his girls dance. Dr. Haynes enjoys hunting, playing golf and hanging out
with his family and friends.
Dr. Haynes is a member of the Northeast Louisiana Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association and American Dental Association. He is a past President of the Northeast Louisiana Dental Association. Dr. Haynes coached in Monroe Youth Baseball for 12 years and served on the MYBA Board. He is a member of St Paul’s United Methodist Church and is active in the church’s retreat ministries.
Dr. Haynes enjoys doing all phases of general dentistry. He sees patients of all ages and loves helping all of them have a beautiful smile.
